My team’s job was to create a marketing campaign that would increase the awareness of the brand.  We ran a social media campaign and connected it with saint-valentine’s day. The result of this campaign increased traffic on the Bistara web site by 40 % during the week of promotionand and brough 30% increase of Bistara subscribers. These results exceeded the goal we set out at the beginning of the campaign and therefore was deemed successful. In addition to an online campaign, we decided to organize a conference called “ cherish creativity” to present Bistara to those students who were interested in part-time work. As a result, 40% of individuals who attended the event subscribed to Bistara from their main page. More importantly, 63% of these visitors created profiles on the Bistara web site. Our work did not stop there, we wanted to go one step further and influence these individuals to fill out their profile, upload their portfolio, upload their pictures and enter their information. By creating a line of follow up emails, we were ultimately able to achieve this goal.

College students can post their portfolio and offer their work for people who are looking for a relatively cheap workforce, creative solutions and ideas out of box. Bistara is a friendly user service that matches people to help each other.

About project

The purpose of this project was to come up with an idea to increase the awareness of the loose crystals that Swarovski is currently offering in b2b market. The company is offering these loose crystals to other businesses in order for them to decorate their products and in turn, use the Swarovski name. The goal was to increase interest in the b2c market, specifically in the millennial market. We wanted to induce this market to buy loose crystals and use them as DIY products and in turn, create interest in the other business that use these loose crystals on their products design.

Swarovski is is an Austrian producer of luxurycut lead glass, headquartered in Wattens, Austria. The company is split into two major industry areas, the Swarovski Kristall business unit that primarily works with luxury items, fashion design crystals and high-end optics such as telescopes, and the Tyrolit business unit that manufactures bonded abrasives as well as concrete sawing and drilling machinery.

About project.

Reduxio hackathon 2016 is a challenge for marketing students to solve real life problems in a specific company. The 9-hour case challenge that was given included the task to solve and present our teams ideas to the company’s representatives. My project was aimed to increase awareness of the brand, including highlighting the target audience and choosing the best channels to promote the product. Currently, the company is entering the Boston market and their main promotion channel includes being present at different technology conferences, establishing booths, and showing the product. This type of promotion was very successful in different cities and countries in the past; however, it wasn’t successful in Boston. For this reason, my team designed new stands that would be present at conferences, developed the customer journey, and 3 different methods to involve the customer to the usage process. Our project received first place in the promotion and development challenge.

About project

My final project during my B.A undergrad was aimed to develop a promotion strategy for digital consultants in the Russian shoes retail market.  My approach was based on a 2d analysis. This analysis included the research of customers through surveys and face-to-face interviews, research of customer buying cycle and research of the potential companies that could implement the product. My promotion strategy included 3 different strategic plans, including marketing Mix for the product’s implementation and different budget options.

AddReality | Product managment

About company.

AddReality platform actively attracts visitors to a POS and involves into the process of shopping. It improves the service quality, helps the staff personnel perform their duty; stimulates cross-sales. Facilitates merchandisers’ duties, minimizes resources of advertising management, saves up to 80% of the advertising budget as compared to the advertising in paper. It reduces tenfold POS advertising costs (costless remote updating) and increases retail space in come due to third-party suppliers’ advertising and develops customer loyalty and increases emotional value of the brand.

About project

Project was aimed to create a business strategy for new Qlik service: Qlik Marketplace. Company’s request was to create a platform within their existing web site, where companies who already using Qlik solutions could sell their apps to new members or between each other. One of the main goals was to highlight target audience that will be able to receive the biggest amount of benefits from that service as well as bringing maximum benefits to sellers (existing Qlik clients). Developed business strategy and subscription model was created in a way to convert new-attracted members to loyal clients after year of membership. After highlighting target persona another aim was to create a web site landing page, apps interface, additional services that will support and develop purchasing process that will be able to attract maximum amount of potential clients. Project included on-line marketing strategy as well as ideas and detailed plan for off-line marketing activities for the nearest 2 years. My Master degree project was a winner among my Marketing class ’16.
